KIRINYAGA

Kirinyaga, meaning "White Mountain," is named after Africa's second-highest peak. This mountain supplies water for coffee cultivation and washing. The region's nutrient-rich volcanic soil and careful processing at Ngugu-Ini Factory result in high-quality coffee. Grades 1 and 2 are dry-fermented, washed with Ratagi River water, and dried for 12-20 days. The resulting coffee is heavily influenced by Kirinyaga's glacial watershed.
